Our Linkages

In order to expand and strengthen its extension and research activities,  over the years the institution has established tie-ups with several national level organizations. The benefits accrued from the collaborations are –

  • National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) – Collaboration for conducting National Level Seminars.
  • University Grants Commission (UGC) – Collaboration for Research Projects, conducting Seminars, Certificate Course in Human Rights Education and availing of Travel grants.
  • Rashtriya Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan (RUSA) – Collaboration for quality enhancement and excellence. 
  • UGC Human Resource Development Centre, University of Mumbai – Collaboration for conducting Faculty Induction Progarmmes
  • Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Mumbai – Collaboration for ‘Spoken Tutorials”, by making use of Open Educational Resources (OER) like Libre Office, Ubuntu, Moodle LMS, Linux, Express and Drawing.
  • Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) – The institution has signed a formal MOU with IGNOU to run various educational courses offered by IGNOU.
  • Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR) – Collaboration for Research Projects and conducting Research Methodology Workshops.
  • National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) – Collaboration for conducting training programme on Child Rights Education.
  • Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) – Expert advice on Community Service, Research, Human Rights Education and sharing of expertise as resource persons.
  • Mahatma Gandhi National Council for Rural Education (MGNCRE MHRD) : Collaboration to promote rural and social entrpreurship skills among the student teachers.
  • University of Mumbai – Setting up College Ph.D. Research Center.
  • Institute of Distance and Open Learning (IDOL, University of Mumbai) – Study center for M.A. Education.
  • SNDT Women’s University – Sharing expertise for conducting viva-voce for M.Ed. students and organizing ICT based workshops and various academic research projects.
  • The Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) – The college Principal and faculty provide their expertise for selection of BARC personnel and awardees, setting of question papers for varied entry-level examinations.
  • Disha Child, Adolescent & Adult Counseling Center – The college Center for Mental Health has tied up with Disha Child, Adolescent & Adult Counseling Center to provide free of cost professional counseling services to student teachers.
  • Maharashtra State Commission for Women (MSCW) – Collaboration for Training Programmes. 
  • Khar Police Station – A service offered by the Police stations wherein college students are encouraged to help senior citizens and women.
  • Bombay Community Public Trust (BCPT) – Collaboration for providing online quality education of English language to children from economically weaker segments of society. 

To keep the faculty abreast with changing trends in education, the institution has established linkages with international level organization like, World Education Fellowship – Indian section and UNFPA and International Literacy Association and Reading Association of India.

  • World Education Fellowship (WEF) : Indian section  – Collaboration for conducting  conference at international level.
  • United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) – Collaboration for conducting National Level Seminars.
  • International Literacy Association and Reading Association of India (ILA) – Collaboration for conducting National Level Seminars.
